Apr 30,  · An awesome and uplifting poem of our worth to our Lord and Savior. Sometimes we may feel like the old violin, but we just have to stop and think, God made us in his likeness and we are worth far more than anything on this earth. The Masters hand fine tuned us all. So thankful and blessed.

Jul 18,  · "The touch of a master's hand." And many a man with life out of tune, A "mess of pottage," a glass of wine, A game—and he travels on. He's "going" once, and "going" twice, He's "going" and almost "gone." But the Master comes, and the foolish crowd The worth of a soul and the change that's wrought In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Peter, James, and John restored the higher priesthood, and John the Baptist the Aaronic Priesthood. I turn to the very same message in verses of a simple poem: ’Twas battered and scarred, and the auctioneer. Thought it scarcely worth his while. To waste much time on the old violin, “The touch of a master’s hand.”.

Swift came the reply: "The touch of a master's hand." And many a man with life out of tune, and battered and scarred with sin, Is auctioned cheap to the thoughtless crowd, much like the old violin, A "mess of pottage," a glass of wine; a game - and he travels on. "He is going" once, and "going twice, He's going and almost gone." But the Master.

But the Master comes and the foolish crowd Never can quite understand, The worth of a soul and the change that's wrought - By the touch of the Master's hand. ‘The Touch of the Master’s Hand’, also sometimes called ‘The Old Violin’ is an inspirational and captivating poem that speaks eloquently of the worth and potential of each and every individual.

This matter of sustaining the officers is a great protection to the Church. The Lord commanded “that it shall not be given to any one to go forth to preach my gospel, or to build up my church, except he be ordained by some one who has authority, and it is known to the church that he has authority and has been [duly] ordained by the heads of the church.” 1 In this way members of the Church.

Credits for The Touch of the Master's Hand, an award-winning short film made by T.C. Christensen, based on a famous poem about a violin which no one wants to buy at an auction, until it is miraculously transformed by the touch of the violin master's hand. The poem by Myra Brooks Welch is an allegory of Jesus Christ and his power to heal all sin.
